One thing I like about steam is the ability to add non-steam games to my client. It makes it easier to keep track of my non-denomination titles, such as Warcraft 3, Starcraft, diablo, Star Wars: Old republic and so fourth. Does Galaxy allow me to add those to my collection or is it strictly for GOG games?
I dont think you can. But it would be a cool feature to add in a future update.
I think someone mentioned being able to do it by creating and/or manipulating ini files.
But definitely not in any user friendly way.
I guess that's a feature that will come some time. Shouldn't be too hard to implement.

Thanks JMich! Though it looks to be too much of a hassle to bother with. Hopefully a simpler built in method will be added later on down the road.
Not yet, perhaps someday when the Galaxy is closer to Gold.

paste ..into notepad, save as goggame-9000000000.info (Save as type: All files (*.*)) in Warcraft III folder.
In Galaxy click on + sign, scan and import folders and point again to Warcraft III folder.
That's what you really need to add non-gog game to Galaxy, all the rest in my guide is just a cosmetic touch, to make me look smarter ; )
This is an old discussion, but I would like to ask whether in 2018 on the current version of Galaxy whether this method still works. I'm trying to use it exactly as written for Ultima Exult, a mod of the Ultima VII games, but Galaxy doesn't seem to find the thing. Perhaps the client has been updated and it no longer works?

Edit: Ah. I must have made a mistake. Most likely the GoG reader is case sensitive and I didn't capitalized the exe file. The thumbnails still aren't detected from the webcache, however. I copied the Ultima VII images over to a folder with the same game ID "5555555" and made no other changes. I thought that leaving the json file and the image names alone would work.

Edit Edit: Changing the image strings to just the names and matching them in the json file seems to have worked. Import completely successful. I wonder why the original strings don't work.
