Can GOG games be even called a "collection", since they are not physical media?

I was wondering about it. Can GOG (or digital games in general) games even actually be considered a, "collection"? They are not on physical media. You can't display them on shelf. They are hardly the real thing.

Maybe only physical media games should be considered a, "collection"?

What do you think?
It's a personal collection for sure.

But the games aren't collectables, as they don't have any monetary value after purchase.

I'm not going to stop calling you out on this spam. The first thread was a valid one, the second and third threads are obvious trolling.

You can always burn the offline installers on a blu ray....
Nothing about the word "collection" requires it to be a collection of a specific thing. Who says you can't collect files on a hard drive?

Ohhhhh, this guy used to be Geralt_of_Rivia, right? Suddenly the inane question built on a flawed premise makes sense.

Yeah a collection just has to be a group of things. Those things can be physical but dont have to be (a collection of ideas for example).

But no, digital things cannot be collectables since they cannot be resold at a later date.
