I downloaded Mask of Eternity but it won't play, help please

More details would help. Your computer specs, whether or not you're using Galaxy, what error messages (if any) you're getting, what, exactly is happening (does the game crash, do you get it to start at all, can you get to the start menu, etc.

That was years and years ago,ancient history.Besides we were very greedy and decided to play dead for better money as the 4 or 5 million a year was hard to live on.And yes,they are greedy and overpaid just like our politicians.

Did you mean Pillars of Eternity? I don't see a 'mask of Eternity' listed on the site. Still need more specs.

First of all, unfortunately the game is not supported in Windows 10, so apparently GOG didn't feel confident enough to support it there, at least not yet. Maybe they have faced problems in their own testing.

Works on: Windows (XP, Vista, 7)

The King's Quest subforum has some discussion about this. Judging by the discussions, apparently KQ8 is somewhat problematic, something about how the intro video etc. is currently switched off in the GOG version, and there was some discussion about workarounds to get it to work, using some fan-made mods or such.
