Thanks for the recommendations everyone! I think I'mma start on Stardew for now and work my way through some other games mentioned.I'm looking into some of the weirder ones and I like what I'm seeing.

I normally just play RPGs to calm down, but yeah I figured I'd like try some other stuff because lifes been a lil extra hard on me lately.

I am very sorry to hear that. I don't believe in God so I can't pray for you, but I can hope for you. I will hope that things get better for you. Unfortunately I'm not sure hoping works any better than praying, but I do hope that things turn around. It is such a hard time for many these days. The few are doing great and the many not so much. Good luck.

Mr.Mumbles: RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 & 2 with OpenRCT2 (original game files needed) - always relaxing
Unless you count RCT2's editors and sandbox scenarios, I'd beg to differ, as I'm always on the edge playing them and making sure everything's properly managed :D
Craft the World is amusing and scalable for your relaxation level.
Everything game is relaxing and it plays its self if you want>

That reminds me, anyone ever just sit and watch a demo play itself? :P

I don't even know if games do that anymore, but all old console games did and some older PC titles did.
One of my favorite things about Startopia is the biodeck. That sector of the space station is so flippin' cool! I could sit and watch my alien visitors wander around the landscape for hours. If only I could explore the place myself! One time, I had some soothing ambient music on my stereo while I played the game. Very rarely does a computer game feel that immersive and serene.

Oh yes, definitely. In my case, I loved to watch the looped demos of the Build Engine games (until I got bored).
