We have synthie pop and metal and other music threads, but I`ve never seen a punk thread. So, I guess it`s time to start one. Let`s start with a classic:
California über alles!
With everything that's going on here lately I thought this is about some neo-nazi movement in California :P

Real punks don't have favorites. They go to the basement. They listen to the band. Loud and hard. They go home and build their muscles. They work hard, doing quality work in obscurity. They live off the grid as much as possible. They eventually learn to make their own boots from the leather of animals they have slaughtered themself. Eventually, they buy a piece of land with money they have saved by not paying for mainstream entertainment or health care. They raise pigs which they use for meat as well as for their skin. They keep their head shaved for the pleasing economy of it. They mutter old Black Flag lyrics while feeding the pigs in the pre-dawn darkness. Once a week they drive their buggy into town to go to the basement to hear the loud hard music. It pleases them because it fits so well with the hard life they have chosen. They build their own coffin with wood they have hewn theirself. It stands propped open in the corner beside the table at which they eat their cold and meagre lunch every weekday. The table itself is a solid piece of granite bought dearly in town. It is already etched with their name. They are hard and pleased and free. They are ready for their death.

Reality check:
"Punks" are usually rich kids with silly hair sitting around in flocks, harassing pedestrians and shouting rallying cries about anarchy and the proletariat while never having worked with their own hands (or any other way) themselves.

You can never go wrong with Jello. Doesn't matter if it's Dead Kennedy's, Lard or with Mojo Nixon.
The politics becomes outdated, but good old Thrash Punk never dies.

The greatest compilation in the history of compilations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uN9zCYVWuRU

But mostly I've just always loved chicks with tatts, Doc Martens and blue hair. They're HOT!
Crass!

Fight me, bro. You're gonna have your organic food, and you're gonna LIKE IT! WE SHALL FORCE YOU TO LEARN OUR PEACEFUL LIBERAL WAYS....FORCEFULLY!

Although really, when I saw the title, I thought it said "California uber allies", so I assumed it was going to talk about the taxi service.
