The Tower of Bundles stands tall! A grand finale: Knights in Shining Armor joust for the princess' snow-white handkerchief, but the cyberpunk heroes did not ask for this.

So we had all these awesome bundles lying around, and we're thinking of what to do with 'em. They all just happen to be square (cubical even, if you squint and use your imagination), and one day our Promo-Master starts stacking them on top of each other thinking little of it. It's a long story. One thing led to another, things escalated quickly, and here we are now. In total, we've built:

Days 5 & 6 - Bundle Tower Finale: Sci-Fi Floor, Knights in Shining Armor, and Divinity: Original Sin
Come one, come all - there's something for everyone on Day 5, where Knights in Shining Armor clash against a floor of Sci-Fi strategy and epic. Complete two series with our two knightly bundles: the <span class="bold">Mount & Blade Pack</span> at -75% (Mount & Blade, Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword, Mount & Blade: Warband, Mount & Blade: Warband: Napoleonic Wars), and the 60% off <span class="bold">Gothic Trilogy</span>, in which we once again welcome the series to GOG.com! (Gothic I, Gothic II, Gothic 3)
Not into steeds and dragons? How about cybernetic implants and spaceships? Train your mind and your <span class="bold">Spatial Awareness</span> with these three space space strategy titles at -75% (Space Colony HD, Galactic Civilizations I, Master of Orion 1+2), or descend into a dystopian future with the <span class="bold">Cyberpunk Pack</span>
(Deus Ex 1+2, Anachronox, Omikron) with another 75% off.

Finally, the tower stands tall!
We had fun, we had game premieres, we had a change of pants. Now, we reach the apex of our tower, and therein lies one final surprise: Divinity: Original Sin at our record high 40% discount! The modern Ultima-inspired RPG wonder stole our hearts, and we hope it'll steal yours too.

Day 4 - Put the Pieces Together & Gamers at the Movies.

Fourth day, four bundles. Coincidence? We think not.
Aliens.
Our DRM-free aliens bring us today's four bundles in convenient sets of two. Still sceptical? Do your own research and Put the Pieces Together - to get your noodle brewing are several Headscratchers at -80% (Super Puzzle Platformer, Unmechanical, Gateways, The Adventures of Shuggy), then once you're good and warmed up, put it all together Brick-by-brick at a 75% discount (LEGO Batman, LEGO Harry Potter 1-7). Adventure, intrigue, aliens. It's just like being at the movies, which is appropriate because this next floor is like a GOG.com branded movie theatre with two side-by-side matinees. That's Geeks 'R' Us at -80% (Ecstasy of Order, Trek Nation, Rewind This, Space Invaders, Downloaded), and Nerd Central (The Frame, Ink, Dark Dungeons, Angry Video Game Nerd, Motivational Growth) with tickets on a permanent -75% discount.

Day 3: History Lessons
*brring* Recess is over!
Kidding, we're just piling on the fun behind thinly veiled History Lessons. We've got one floor for you today, but what a floor indeed! Today's two bundles are not just about being smart, fiendishly difficult, and kinda historically accurate (just like school) - but also about all of them being released on GOG.com for the first time. Just like we promised.
The self-titled <span class="bold">History Lessons</span> bundle, at -75%, includes Paradox Interactive grand-strategy titles (Europa Universalis 2, Europa Universalis: Rome Gold, and Hearts of Iron), while the -75% <span class="bold">Pack of War</span> packs a stack of Men of War titles (Faces of War, Men of War: Red Tide, Men of War: Assault Squad, and Men of War: Vietnam ), where you'll strive to survive organic, semi-authentic, squad based battles.

If anyone asks where on earth you've been for the past week, you'll say studying for history finals. Inside the Bundle Tower. Right?

Day 2: The Adrenaline Floor & Indie Variety
On the second day of the Bundle Tower, there were two more floors and four more bundles. Our first major stop is occupied by a varied crowd, where <span class="bold">Wacky Indies</span> at 80% off (Stick it to the Man, Consortium, Sir, You Are Being Hunted) and <span class="bold">Indie Platformers</span> at -85% (Dust, Spelunky, Trine Enchanted Edition, Trine 2) mingle, mix, and match, and learn about the importance of friendship, and sharing, and the power of cooperation.
Then we move up to The Adrenaline Floor. It sounds like trouble, and it is. - 75% off the <span class="bold">SHMUP Attack Pack</span> (REVOLVER360 Re:Actor, Raiden III, Crimzon Clover, Astebreed) is your warmup, and it's the first of the bundles to feature a GOG.com premiere with REVOLVER360 Re:Actor!
Don't get cocky though, because soon you'll run like hell and proclaim: <span class="bold">S#&%, My Pants!</span> The Penumbra Collection, Amnesia: Dark Descent, Outlast, (and a change of knickers, maybe) are part of the bundle at 80% off!

Day 1: The Foundations
A rock-solid four bundles. <span class="bold">Hasbro RPG classics</span> (including Planescape: Torment, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale) and the <span class="bold">Divinity Trilogy</span> (Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Divinity 2) are available 80% off. In the meantime, <span class="bold">Lucasfilm adventures</span> at 70% off (Sam & Max Hit the Road, Secret of Monkey Island, Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis), and a 75% off the entire <span class="bold">Broken Sword Saga</span> (in one bundle with Broken Sword 5 for the first time!), are just a point-and-click away.

The Bundle Tower Finale, with all bundles and discounts, will stand tall for a final 48 hours! Visiting hours end on Sunday, April 19, at 12:59 PM GMT.

BillyMaysFan59: When did Judas hint at big things coming? Am I missing something?
Not sure of the exact origin, but the implication has been floating around for a few weeks that another major reveal is on the way.

I'm sure that as I type this, Grargar is already posting all the facts. :)

Maybe not the exact quote that MacArthur is referring to, but Judas loves hype.

Thanks. There might have been something in the hint thread too, but I do not have it at hand. Basically the impression has been snowballing over time, with blue encouragement. :)

I was thinking of that :

IAmSinistar: Big things afoot indeed. Judas was not being hyperbolic. I applaud this move, GOG.
Oh you thought this was big? How cute :D We've got even bigger things coming :)

(Don't get me wrong I think it's awesome we have this retail redemption thing going on I am just much more excited about another big thing coming up one of these days because reasons :D )

The quote tags only work for the specific thread, you can't add a quote from another thread. To link to a specific post, just add /post### at the end of the thread url, like this: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/bundle_tower_promo_41e01/post559

Quote or link? If we're talking about linking, then you should move your mouse cursor at the top of your post and next to the "Posted now/x minutes/ x hours ago/etc." blurb, you should see a chain icon (look at the picture below). The chain icon contains the link of the post, which you can just copy and paste.

How is it possible that GOG missed EVERY SINGLE GAME on my wishlist? Conspiracy? :-p

Because they had to hit a couple on mine this time around.

Maybe you just need a longer wishlist :P
avatar
JudasIscariot: Maybe you just need a longer wishlist :P
But that would require GOG releasing more games I want first. *hint* *hint* *hint* ;-p XD Lot of games on my list are too new to receive big discount. On the other hand you've also had steep release discounts so I've bought lot of games on release and my list hasn't been growing as much as it normally would. :-p Finally until I finally get a new rig most of new games are out of my computer's league. haha.

IAmSinistar: Achievement Unlocked. ;)
avatar
JudasIscariot: Yeah, I prefer small, real-life achievements instead of gaming ones :)

My favorite one is still "The Brazilian Broker: Purchase the Brazllian-Portuguese version of an older game from a market closed off to everyone except Brazilians all the while not knowing any Brazilian-Portuguese" :D
You just wait until you start to discover and learn regional variations of the language. Things like mandioca, macaxeira, aipin or even pão francês, pão de sal, cacetinho.

RadonGOG: [...] Anyways, @GOG, I´m a little sad that you decided to end the promo at the end of the day, would have liked to see the last bundles tomorrow... :(
There apparently won't be any more bundles, but the promo itself will continue into Sunday. :)

MacArthur: ( I don't know how you quote a precise post -_- )
You add [ quote ] [ /quote ] tags around whatever you're quoting (without the spaces).

If I add quote tags to the quotes you dug up (as well as a credit for Judas' quote ;) ) then, other than the extra spaces, it would look like this in the "Add or edit your post" window:
IAmSinistar: [ quote ]Big things afoot indeed. Judas was not being hyperbolic. I applaud this move, GOG.[ /quote ]
JuadsIscariot: [ quote ]Oh you thought this was big? How cute :D We've got even bigger things coming :)

(Don't get me wrong I think it's awesome we have this retail redemption thing going on I am just much more excited about another big thing coming up one of these days because reasons :D )[ /quote ]

If I remove those spaces, it looks like this:
IAmSinistar:
Big things afoot indeed. Judas was not being hyperbolic. I applaud this move, GOG.
JudasIscariot:
Oh you thought this was big? How cute :D We've got even bigger things coming :)

(Don't get me wrong I think it's awesome we have this retail redemption thing going on I am just much more excited about another big thing coming up one of these days because reasons :D )
If you want to quote from a specific post in the same thread, look for the post number (see Grargar's post above) and add that after the opening quote tag; [ quote_559 ] (without the spaces again, of course) would point to your post, for example. (The closing tag doesn't need the number, though: it would still be [ /quote ] ).

Thanks for the explanation. Though in fact I used "quote", but I meant "link" to a precise post. Not a native speaker here, so that kind of screw up is frequent for me.

I am not sure I would be able to learn PT-Br, much less any dialects/creoles thereof :) Besides, I'd rather ask a native speaker to translate something for me in case google translate fails completely :)
