The Tower of Bundles stands tall! A grand finale: Knights in Shining Armor joust for the princess' snow-white handkerchief, but the cyberpunk heroes did not ask for this.

So we had all these awesome bundles lying around, and we're thinking of what to do with 'em. They all just happen to be square (cubical even, if you squint and use your imagination), and one day our Promo-Master starts stacking them on top of each other thinking little of it. It's a long story. One thing led to another, things escalated quickly, and here we are now. In total, we've built:

Days 5 & 6 - Bundle Tower Finale: Sci-Fi Floor, Knights in Shining Armor, and Divinity: Original Sin
Come one, come all - there's something for everyone on Day 5, where Knights in Shining Armor clash against a floor of Sci-Fi strategy and epic. Complete two series with our two knightly bundles: the Mount & Blade Pack at -75% (Mount & Blade, Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword, Mount & Blade: Warband, Mount & Blade: Warband: Napoleonic Wars), and the 60% off Gothic Trilogy, in which we once again welcome the series to GOG.com! (Gothic I, Gothic II, Gothic 3)
Not into steeds and dragons? How about cybernetic implants and spaceships? Train your mind and your Spatial Awareness with these three space space strategy titles at -75% (Space Colony HD, Galactic Civilizations I, Master of Orion 1+2), or descend into a dystopian future with the Cyberpunk Pack
(Deus Ex 1+2, Anachronox, Omikron) with another 75% off.

Finally, the tower stands tall!
We had fun, we had game premieres, we had a change of pants. Now, we reach the apex of our tower, and therein lies one final surprise: Divinity: Original Sin at our record high 40% discount! The modern Ultima-inspired RPG wonder stole our hearts, and we hope it'll steal yours too.

Day 4 - Put the Pieces Together & Gamers at the Movies.

Fourth day, four bundles. Coincidence? We think not.
Aliens.
Our DRM-free aliens bring us today's four bundles in convenient sets of two. Still sceptical? Do your own research and Put the Pieces Together - to get your noodle brewing are several Headscratchers at -80% (Super Puzzle Platformer, Unmechanical, Gateways, The Adventures of Shuggy), then once you're good and warmed up, put it all together Brick-by-brick at a 75% discount (LEGO Batman, LEGO Harry Potter 1-7). Adventure, intrigue, aliens. It's just like being at the movies, which is appropriate because this next floor is like a GOG.com branded movie theatre with two side-by-side matinees. That's Geeks 'R' Us at -80% (Ecstasy of Order, Trek Nation, Rewind This, Space Invaders, Downloaded), and Nerd Central (The Frame, Ink, Dark Dungeons, Angry Video Game Nerd, Motivational Growth) with tickets on a permanent -75% discount.

Day 3: History Lessons
*brring* Recess is over!
Kidding, we're just piling on the fun behind thinly veiled History Lessons. We've got one floor for you today, but what a floor indeed! Today's two bundles are not just about being smart, fiendishly difficult, and kinda historically accurate (just like school) - but also about all of them being released on GOG.com for the first time. Just like we promised.
The self-titled History Lessons bundle, at -75%, includes Paradox Interactive grand-strategy titles (Europa Universalis 2, Europa Universalis: Rome Gold, and Hearts of Iron), while the -75% Pack of War packs a stack of Men of War titles (Faces of War, Men of War: Red Tide, Men of War: Assault Squad, and Men of War: Vietnam ), where you'll strive to survive organic, semi-authentic, squad based battles.

If anyone asks where on earth you've been for the past week, you'll say studying for history finals. Inside the Bundle Tower. Right?

Day 2: The Adrenaline Floor & Indie Variety
On the second day of the Bundle Tower, there were two more floors and four more bundles. Our first major stop is occupied by a varied crowd, where Wacky Indies at 80% off (Stick it to the Man, Consortium, Sir, You Are Being Hunted) and Indie Platformers at -85% (Dust, Spelunky, Trine Enchanted Edition, Trine 2) mingle, mix, and match, and learn about the importance of friendship, and sharing, and the power of cooperation.
Then we move up to The Adrenaline Floor. It sounds like trouble, and it is. - 75% off the SHMUP Attack Pack (REVOLVER360 Re:Actor, Raiden III, Crimzon Clover, Astebreed) is your warmup, and it's the first of the bundles to feature a GOG.com premiere with REVOLVER360 Re:Actor!
Don't get cocky though, because soon you'll run like hell and proclaim: S#&%, My Pants! The Penumbra Collection, Amnesia: Dark Descent, Outlast, (and a change of knickers, maybe) are part of the bundle at 80% off!

Day 1: The Foundations
A rock-solid four bundles. Hasbro RPG classics (including Planescape: Torment, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale) and the Divinity Trilogy (Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Divinity 2) are available 80% off. In the meantime, Lucasfilm adventures at 70% off (Sam & Max Hit the Road, Secret of Monkey Island, Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis), and a 75% off the entire Broken Sword Saga (in one bundle with Broken Sword 5 for the first time!), are just a point-and-click away.

The Bundle Tower Finale, with all bundles and discounts, will stand tall for a final 48 hours! Visiting hours end on Sunday, April 19, at 12:59 PM GMT.

gamesfreak64: cant find that one, as a matter of fact the game dont show in search.
so part 3 is on GOG? i thought only part 1 and 2?
anyways i had it on sale from gg (steam) installed the game from the steamclient on xp, and got the game, its drm free so i can play it anywhere.

problem is however that if and when win10 needs to be used the old xp probably will be moved from my pc , so i will have and old 7 and new win10 i always keep a new version of windows and the version before.(exept these windows those were just palin awfull: winME, vista, and win8x)

well, i am not addicted :P (not yet perhaps?) but i have to check the site at least once every day , provided nothing comes in between that prevents me from logging in.
during sales periods(fall/winter/ mutator/insomnia and this one ) i check it 2 tot 3 times and when i am in front of the pc working on it, i just leave it open in the browser.
Alt tab occasionally to see whats up :P

xep624: Well, now it looks like I'm not the only one who checks and checks on gog - I have Steam account, but I'm not much of a fan of their sales - they have too many titles and DRM for free... Plus there's no suspension and thrills when there's a sale...
I like this idea of "tower promo" - new bundles are being added, so even if someone pops in here once a week can get a good deal. I guess I will sleep now and check in here again in the morning! Good night/day all!
thrill on steam? nope, cause thrills are non existent on steam , they do know how to write thrill but thats a close as it gets.
There is a bit 'humor': greenlight is plain fun, so many games that are sooooooooooo bad, but theres light cause a few look very good.... i followed these to see when more info is available (2d games and 2d adventures no 3d)

GG has sales aswell but its usually very much steam, and most of the non steam is very old stuff and very silly games. So no thrill aswell.

I just checked the indie platformers :D
but ... unfortunately no Unepic (indie game) on sale, so i removed unepic from the wishlist for now, Dark Reign + Expansion is the only one thats on the list.

nothing to buy for me from this platform

Now i am waiting for platform 3 tomorrow :P
Woa, such good prices!
I probably paid more for some of these in the past.

Anyway, opinions on the shmups?
What's the best?
Is Raiden III the original or just a remake?

EDIT: ugh, Crimzon Clover is too.. extreme

tburger: Nothing for me today. Broken Sword bundle is still on the top.
same here, unepic (9.19 euro) is not on the list, had it on the wishlist for a while, just removed it.

Dark Reign + Expansion will stay on the wishlist cause i have the retail version + manual (paperbook)
and old games i own are always on the list to be bought, same goes for games i might have on steam (havent got anything cool on steam besides fallout classics (have all on retail cd aswell).

Most of the non real 3d games are already on my shelf, with the exception of some 'stinkrs' that are present in order to get the game you want cheap:

I got brokensword 5 at 5.95 euros or so, but i had to get his ugly brothers bs3 and bs4 aswell , so i did .
Sometimes you buy stinkers at 1 euro or 2 euro in order to get that one divine game :P
The plus is that i will get a very large collection , so all in all its not that bad to have some 'smellers' on a shelf.

Mutator promos: buy 3 usually stinkers and get chance at a (very) good game at sale, i got

The Night of the Rabbit, and Memoria
but it came along a game i already had: Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav, The (got it at mutator promo)
also this little stinker tagged along : Journey of a Roach

So sometimes buy some less to get one or more marvellous games.
This is usally also with cheap 3 for 6 bucks (euros) casualgames on retail cd/dvd

i bought 3 of these 3 packs (thats 18 bucks) to get only 3 good games (and 1 reasonable) at very low cost(2 bucks each instead of 5 or 6 bucks per game)) , but they tagged along with some real stinkers.
So that would be at 3 pieces at 15 bucks, so it is better to get all of it and dump the 'smelly' ones.

So sometimes i kept the dvd case and demolished the stinker with a hammer, gifting the cd was not possible cause i already had one of these.

Yeah, not much today for me either. I would consider Sir, You Are Being Hunted at full discount, but as it stands I would have to grab Stick to the Man as well, which I don't care for. And I'm still pining for some of those Hasbro RPGs...
Really nice discounts!

I'm tempted to buy the indie platformers one even though I own all of them already on Steam apart from Tine 1.

Would also like to get Outlast at that price but sadly already have the rest of the bundle from my ignorant Steam days...

if i can get stuff i have on steam also on gog i do it anytime, this would make a leave from the steam easier, plus if you read those terms and those 'threats' of disabling access to all games (google on it) funny thing is since most games are depended of the clienst they can easily disable the games .

I go drm free anytime.

anyways i am off now till:

More deals, up to -85%, in: 22:58:27

It's the original Raiden III, just with PC settings.

I'm so bored of greenlight because of the lack of quality in so many titles. I haven't found any games of interest in the various greenlight bundles lately either. I'm sure there are some good games in greenlight, but I no longer want to swim through a see of crap to find that rare treasure.

Nope, this dude is way darker than Zorro.

Anyway, about the promo: if you buy the games as gifts, you can redeem what you want and maybe trade the rest.

I totally agree. If money wasn't a restriction I would do that without thinking twice.
There's a few titles I own on both platforms already but first I want to go through my wishlist. :)

Alucard?
No Outlast DLC ?

Looks like my CC can rest today .
Great sale Gog--especially with the treatment of previously owned games. Others might know but i didn't; if you uncheck an already-owned game from one of the bundles, the prices don't change for the others in the bundle (same discount). If you uncheck one that you don't own, the prices go up (less discount) as one would expect. Excellent job guys.

Russonc: Only one I will take a closer look at is Consortium. I don't think I have that anywhere else and it looks interesting to me... too bad only 60% off instead of 80% like the entire batch is (I have the others..just not on GOG!!) :)
avatar
Leroux: Shouldn't be too hard to find someone who owns the whole bundle already and can get it at 79% off for you. I could do that myself, but currently the only game I want is NWN2 and that costs more than Consortium, so it would be a bad deal for you.
Nice idea... I will take a better look after work.. (surprisingly they frown on me being on the Internet very long..) Have to jump in, jump out. hehe
