mistermumbles: I want to thank everybody for their input, but I think during this past week or so I've gotten a bit too eager about the thought of finally getting a new and actually decent gaming PC. While I most certainly have the money to do so - several times over, in fact - I think I better hold off on any big plans right now.

I'm going back to school in the Fall, and I'm doubtful such a bigger investment would be a good move at this point. Plus, once I hit the books again, working part-time, that probably will leave not so much time for gaming. As it is, it's not like I'm lacking in things to play. *looks at his 700+ backlog in awe, embarassment and slight disgust* Looks like those shiny new games will have to wait, after all.

This thread will still serve as a good reference for the future.
