They're taking your money on a Sunday so why not? I don't necessarily expect people to be there 24/7, it's ok for people to go to bed. But if you're selling through the weekend your site should have support through the weekend imo.

GOG have made SO MANY similar bugs, and there are still white knights stand by them.
Bug reporters are good for GOG, those white knights are not.
