I was browsing and adding stuff last night. Today, I've been popping in and out adding some more stuff. I was at a bit above 20 items. Just noticed that I only have 7 items now in my shopping cart.

This isn't the first time this has happened during this sale.

Anyone else experiencing anything similar?

Kind of, but in my case it's not a bug - I just keep adding stuff and then reminding myself I don't have money for it and I empty the cart, and then a few hours later I start over :D
GOG's shopping cart simply isn't made to be persistent. Don't expect it to last for more than a few hours.

EDIT: Btw, they got hit by a DDoS attack, so they may have purged temp data to make sure everything is consistent after the connection to GOG was stable again.

^ ^ This. Sadly. Is true :-(

Do it like this: Put all titles you are interested in on your wishlist then from that, probably much shorter selection, you move the items you want to purchase into your shopping cart. This way the time out does not have errh time to hit you.

Since they upgraded the interface, I noticed the shopping cart is no longer tab-safe.

If I add something to it in another tab then refresh the current tab, it'll be clueless and empty. This worked without issues before the UI re-vamping.

Oh, so I'm not crazy.

REALLY!?!? S**t! :-( Now I need to start going through all those games again from the start. I should have followed my own advice from a few posts up...

I am really not amused now :-(

If that's true, they screwed up bad :(

I can't really imagine anyone *not* opening the game pages in tabs if they're browsing the deals and checking more than one game closely.

Well, if you refresh the main tab BEFORE closing all the other separate game-tabs you've used to add stuff to the catalog, it does pick them up sometimes. I'm just not used to doing that.

Edit: In fact, you have to refresh all your other tabs after you use a tab to add stuff to the catalog in order to make sure the change is picked up across tabs, which is just too much. I consider it broken as it stands.

Never experienced that, but I think it's telling you to not buy so much at one time. :P

Very inconvenient, don't think I know of an online store that deletes my cart.

Not tab browsing safe, I... I... I... I don't think I'm able to shop without tabbing.... lol

Looks like this is the only way to shop for the time beings.

You know, the first time I bought something on this sale, I swore I added a few items to my cart that I didn't get when I paid for my stuff. I just assumed I didn't really add it to the cart. But now....
