Is there any way to play this game without dgVoodoo in Windows 10 x64?

I don't think so, the game was always crashing for me and the only solution was to install dgVoodoo with the Widescreen patch.
It could be the reason why on the store page GOG only mention Windows XP & Vista as compatible.

It runs fine on the laptop I am currently using. (win 10 x64, intel HD 4400).
I didn't have to do anything special to get it to work.
D3D works fine.
Software rendering works as long as I don't chose anything above 1280x720.

Oh yeah... well, I guess it depends then.
I have multiple monitors hooked to my PC and I tried to run the game in 1920x1080 so it may be why the game wasn't working at first.
