Johnathanamz: Voting with your wallet is the best way to get a solution I guess.
The more video games I purchase that have multiplayer that don't use CD Keys or GoG Galaxy or some other type of Digital Rights Management (DRM) the more video game developers will probably stop using them if they see sales increases.
adaliabooks: It's really sweet that you think that will make any difference whatsoever, or that devs would even notice the reason if sales did increase or decrease for said games.
Even if we all stopped buying games with GoG Galaxy multiplayer (or whatever else), the far more likely scenario is that the publishers and developers of those games just stop selling any new games on GoG at all rather then implementing new multiplayer systems. And as a knock on effect maybe lots of other publishers and developers would stop selling things here too if they didn't think it was worth the effort any more.
The people who want to purchase those video games can go ahead and purchase them I never will.
Or maybe one day I will purchase them all and write a review for all of them and say I dislike that CD Keys, GoG Galaxy, uPlay, whatever is used for the connection of multiplayer to play on whatever server I want to play on. Or something like that.
