nightcraw1er.488: Why is this sale still ongoing, it's barely even Tuesday anymore. Surely there are several other sales needing to come in?
I must have missed your complaint about the Black Friday sale starting on wednesday. Could you be so kind to direct me to it?

krakataul: Did I miss something - bought a game during sale, only to notice that my preferred currency is changed from dollars to euros, and that my GOG wallet is suddenly empty? Is there a time limit for Wallet funds?
Yes there is :(

"Fix" for the currency bug during sale: put something in your cart and go to checkout - the currency should switch to your preferred one. Wallet funds can't be switched to other currencies, so with the right currency selected it will show (if available).

(as mentioned before)

Edit: If your settings have changed too, it's something GOG messed up, apart from the known sale currency bug.

Spectre: Steams store has it's problems too.
I can't deny that. Yet I currently find it easier to navigate than Gog, if I feel like browsing their catalog.

At least there you can see a list (not a grid) of their offers, with the name of each game beside their picture and no autoplaying videos on mouse hover.

But I'm certain you don't need me to tell you everything that used to work well before they introduced the 10th anniversary layout. Or the amount of things Steam users have and we ask for, like the possibility of filtering out DLCs and games already owned, or sorting by discount or current price.

(And frankly, I don't want to type so much)

joppo: My haul from this Gog sale:

- My first steam purchase in... probably 2 years;
Your post getting high rated should ring every alarm bell at gog HQ. It wasn't long ago when unfavourably comparing gog to Steam would get you insta-low rated.

It's yet another nice illustration just how much gog screwed up. Also the amount of "I don't like the new gog, but I guess I'm not their target audience any more."-posts should be worrying. The words "alienating your customers" get thrown around a lot, but people feeling they're no longer the target audience is the dictionary definition of alienating their audience.

Unless that's the point, which really seems to be the case for years, alienating those who came here for any differences that used to exist between GOG and other stores, and those who're speaking up, being active in any way bar just purchasing.

BloodMist: Myst 3 and 4 are of course not on sale. Ugh.

guppy44: This is odd. That other store has each game at a 40% discount totaling $17.98 for the pair. As far as I know they both came to GOG first. I wish us GOG lovers were given the same treatment by publishers/developers, and that goes for more than just pricing (updates, etc.) :(
No kidding, and I will absolutely put Ubi at fault, because that sounds like it would be there doing.
