One of the best games you never played, Bio Menace (it's free, you have no excuse), is getting a remaster!

BioMenace Remastered - Reveal Trailer

I can't be the only one who's excited, right?

Here's hoping for a GOG release
Well, the original is free, so nobody really has any excuse for never having played it :P

Really interested in the difficulty tweaks. If they make it so hard difficulty does not arbitrarily chunk your health to 2 points only and keeps the increased enemy toughness and density, that might make me actually interested in the remaster. Extra episode is also a plus of course.

Thought I still expect it to be a very hard sell, considering the original is free. Will depend on the price tag.

Very good! I'll test it as soon as it's available. =) The author should try to put it on the ZOOM Platform, as GOG generally refuses to release fan stuff, except when the fans work for GOG. In fact, the classic version of ZOOM's Bio Menace runs on DOSBox Staging, while the GOG version is still on the old, abandoned classic DOSBox.

you raise a valid point. Time to experience a classic.
I left a YouTube comment asking for a GOG release. Others should too.

edit: I edited in to the YouTube comment Zoom-Platform as a possibility, so you specifically want it on GOG, leave your own comment encouraging a GOG release.

I'm actually waiting for Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure HD. BioMenace just doesn't speak to me the same way.
Nice! I never did finish the original. The new episode looks intriguing too from what little they show of it.

The FAQ on Steam does say they're looking into a GOG release.

As for the original Bio Menace which is free on GOG, if people don't want to use the GOG-supplied Dosbox, Dosbox-Staging can be used instead:

In cases like this where there's no need to update the gameplay for a modern audience, I wonder if it would be better to create a sequel in the same style.

Another memory of gaming goodness, with aspects similar to the old Duke Nukem games. I am hoping it won't be too expensive so I can some day play the new episode.
