I haven't even finished FO3 myself(too many areas and the damn fog of war goes back over some areas on my copy when going too far away, plus data loss over the years), so why would I bother with it?

I think people should either pay it if they want to play or don't and live without.

the only sub games that remain are mmo games like WOW, when u have a atom store aswell, theres also features like fast travel behind this sub system among other things, i reccomend u listen to whatculturegaming podcast as they have covred it in more detail, but either way charging a sub for a game thats still broken after nearly a year after release, is terrible,

Fast travel isn't locked behind the sub, that's always been possible. Probably the camp you get is just another fast travel point you could use.

The true shame here is the unlimited scrap box. They've always said adding more inv space would add too much stress to the server but apparently it's fine as long as you pay them.

That some sort of private servers would have a cost doesn't surprise me at all, seeing they run them, not you, which also doesn't surprise me at all. However, these aren't even permanent servers. They're just instances of the game you spawn as a subscriber and they disappear the moment the last person in the instance *with a subscription* leaves it. That's totally ridiculous and makes the fee way too high for what you get.

On top of that they're often just extra instances that already existed anyway but probably emptied out so often they've already been looted or quest people died. Naturally those reset over time but it's still ridiculous.

About the same as with "Creation Club" - RIP future decent single-player Bethesda games that aren't at least partially locked behind rental paywalls...

They want to lock all modding behind such walls to get money for it and make people who want to play such mods buy at certain stores, and they also likely want to control what mods are allowed.
Seeing this shit I'm more and more convinced that the Bethesda offices are actually interdimensional intersections people from an Idiocracy-type of alternate reality use as forward posts.
People from this reality cannot possibly act and pull off shit that asinine and with that consistency.
>failing game
>durrr I know lets add a subscription THATS BOUND TO FIX IT

I hope Bethseda's mental AIDS doesnt effect Doom Eternal or I am going to be pissed.

Not much of a suprise after the “It just works” clusterduck of a release called Fallout 76. Bethesda go home, you’re drunk. Cheers

My opinion is that they went full retard. You never go full retard.

They tried to save the dumpster fire that is Fallout 76 with gasoline, and those flames probably damaged their own brand quite a bit.
