No, it is one of the non-gog games that sprung to mind

Green_Hilltop: Thanks for telling me about this game! It's the one with the local multiplayer, right? Did you ever try it and if yes, how did you like it? Wiki says that Hexx is basically the same game but with improved graphics and better magic system, have you played both? Which one would you recommend, did Hexx drop anything from the previous gaem?
First time I see Hexx, but it does look similar. Bloodwych I played some months ago, it is ok, still playable but I like Dungeon Master better.
Maybe Daggerfall? =)

Now I am visualizing Legend of Grimrock with tons of dialogues.

Giant Snail: Have you ever been to France?
Me:Yes, I did and I liked Escargots à la Bourguignonne. It was delicious.
Snail attacks!

Now that escalated quickly.

Sabin_Stargem: Green Hilltop's link is a bit off. It is .net, not .com. :P

Anyhow, I am hoping that the Etrian games someday come to PC. That mapping system deserves a mouse.
Oh yeah, you're right! I was so tired I didn't notice. :)

Edit: Thanks for your replies everyone, keep them coming! I have to go now but I'll reply to everyone once I come back.

LOL, that was nice.

toxicTom: LOL, that was nice.
It is not far off, praising or insulting monsters is pretty pointless in Bloodwych, but very funny

CMOT70:
Yeah, now I'm really putting it on my to-play list! Thanks! :)
The idea reminds me a bit of some of the Shin Megami Tensei games, like Strange Journey or Soul Hackers.

InfraSuperman: Realms of the Haunting, maybe?
avatar
Green_Hilltop: Isn't it a FPS though with some RPG bits? Basically Quake with magic?
Sorry for the late response.

Realms of the Haunting isn't really an FPS or an RPG; it certainly doesn't play much like Quake or the like.
It's essentially a first person point & click adventure game mixed with FPS-style action. There is also a strong emphasis on story and cut-/dialogue scenes.

As Hardcore Gaming 101 said:

"And while Realms of the Haunting doesn't really sell itself as one, it should also please dungeon-crawler fans, since it mostly plays like one, only with more plot, puzzles and no leveling up, though you tend to receive better weapons as the game progresses."

I can really recommend the game, it's pretty unique and entertaining, even though it takes a turn for the weird after a while.

Fairfox: Sorry! And onwards:

Telika: Arx Fatalis. By far.

It's basically Morrowind underground.

Fairfox: This game-y is still never on sale, correct? Also, has there been any change in general topic opinion(s)?

I'm not even really interested in this genre but I DONT KNOW IT ALL SEEMS FINE TO ME LA LA LA.
Are you OK? Is this like when FortunePDog gets baked and starts making weird threads, only you're "altered" and making weird necros? Are you just really, really bored?
