Bayer owns the German government and has the EU on their paycheck and Monsanto rules the USA.
Fun fact is that Bayer lost 7 Billion € after the announcement and now their market value comes close
to the offer for Monsanto...reminds me of Porsche trying to buy VW and in the end VW bought Porsche.

I for one am glad we move closer and closer to a single, centralized, all powerful, corporate god-emperor (TM).
