Elmofongo: Is Denuvo only utilized on the Multiplayer portion of the game?
Denuvo prevents users from tampering with any game related files and is always active, I do not have an understanding of how it works internally though.
DRM part is the standard origin thingy for DA:I. Denuvo is protection for drm they've already got in.

Well nothing that concerns me. I am just waiting to get this game at a cheap price and when all the DLC comes out and HOPE for a complete edition.

huN73R: Too much fluff without meaningful content is what I've heard but I haven't played it myself.

Elmofongo: I meant technical side like is there an extra layer of DRM?

Does the game crash alot?

Framerate issues?

wolfsrain: Well, apart the performance (which improved slightly after patches, but not with much), it was a very generic SP with MMO gameplay type. Not sure if the poor performance on certain systems was because of poor optimization or because of Denuvo or both. Even people with some serious PC's complained about the performance, initially. After the patches, not so much, but some still did...

Framerate issues, yes. The crashing doesn't happen too often now, but it used too. Denuvo is used for the whole game (SP and MP).

Basically, Denuvo claims that's only an executable encrypter

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denuvo

But they still did not explain clearly how it works. And the devs from the Lords of the Fallen kind of blamed it for that game's poor performance. Which might be true, because it seems that there are no complaints for the pirate version...

DA:I wasn't even released in India because of potential problems with obscenity laws here, mostly regarding romance-able options in-game I guess. I'd have gotten it too if it weren't for that.
@huN73R My condolences for that new law about porn. Looks like the effect was that more indians learned how to use VPN's:)

Puritan pansies and this is coming from the country that gave us the Kama Sutra ;)

Wasn't said law revoked?
It was, but the consequences were an increased interest into VPN and proxy use.
Porn law was revoked and isn't the reason DA:I was restricted by EA. The real reason was gay relationships being in it as per some rumors but EA denied that being the reason.

If they want to develop an anti-cheat system, they should learn it from Valve and its VAC.
