stg83: I certainly don't doubt your patience and the tendency of games to become much cheaper two years after release. But I do have some doubts about it being in a humble bundle, but to be fair it is still quite possible somewhere down the line as Batman Arkham Origins has been in a bundle already.
Also agree that there are more then enough games to keep one occupied in the mean time for as long as it takes. I on the other hand have been eagerly anticipating this game ever since it was announced and having immensely enjoyed the previous games I can only hold off till the eventual GOTY edition to play this epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy despite having a lot of other games that I can play as well, not Skyrim though as I don't see the appeal personally. :)
Understood. I have to admit, had someone told me that the first two highly popular Batman games, all 3 FEAR games, 3 Lord of the Rings games, 3 Mortal Kombat games and various other Batman and LOTR DLC/etc. would show up in a Humble Bundle for $3.76 2 years ago I would have thought they were nuts. There have been other bundles I'd have considered equally unlikely for similar pricing also. Nowadays I find it less and less unlikely and see some patterns forming that I think it is now almost predictable to happen based on a number of factors including initial price of a game when it comes out, how fast the regular price drops and how soon it gets deep discounted as well as how often, when it comes out with a GOTY or Enhanced Edition or similar, and where it stands on Steam stats the first day, few days, week etc. after release and where it stands a month, 6 months, 12 months later. Most games like this enjoy super popularity for a very brief period, may even win awards for it, then people lose interest and their popularity plummets quickly and they become the digital online equivalent of bargain bin games with GOTY stickers on them. Arkham Origins price dropped pretty much how I predicted, then DLC for the game kept it propped up for a while, but I predict that it wont be long until that game ends up taking a big price drop and deep discounting and probably hit Humble before too long. Keep in mind some of the DLC for Origins has already hit Humble in the bundle I mention above. :)
It's almost like having a crystal ball. :)
