It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

SirPrimalform: Well it's a laptop screen so it doesn't have normal brightness or contrast controls like you'd get on a standalone LCD monitor. The best I have is backlight brightness. I'm not sure what it is about the Aluminium theme that hurts my eyes because black text on a white background document is absolutely fine for me.
Ah, right. Does it change as you flip the screen back and forth? TN panels do that as they have terrible colour consistency in any but their optimal angle (usually straight on at either the bottom or top of the screen, and a slight angle at the other end), and light grey tones can seem lighter than white does.

Hmm, that's a good point. Maybe I've just been looking at it from too high an angle all this time!

Hope you don't mind me using you as a guinea pig again, but I believe I have it fixed. Are you notified about this post?

Yes!

And I don't mind at all... Besides, it was me who brought the subject up.
Just wanted to say thanks for this script (and your nav-anchor style).

The quick post feature (yay, it also comes with preview), is a great and handy addition - using it right now.

Looking forward for the update that makes the fainted quoted text optional - as SirPrimalform said, it's quite hard to read when using the dark GOG theme.

Many thanks.

EDIT: Just noticed there's preview in the normal post window as well - Mr Barefoot_Monkey, you are king!

Damuna: Out of curiosity, should the default transparency be set to 0? It bugged me at 0.1, and I'm wondering how others felt about the phantom bar at the top.
It doesn't bother me (the darker the better) - I also have Barefoot_Monkey's nav-anchor userstyle installed so it doesn't follow me around, couldn't be happier.

Where do I get this nav-anchor thing from? I'd rather fix the nav to the top than make it transparent.

Here you go, sir:

You can also vote to get it as native feature here

EDIT: I just realized that it's raina's userstyle - apologies, raina.

P.S. Did not get a notification for SirPrimalform's post, FWIW.

Damuna: I don't think I was notified of your reply, either.
Didn't get one for yours either.
Did you by any chance use the quick reply? I did - maybe it's not doing the trick?

@Barefoot_Monkey - mentioning it in case it does matter and it's something to look into.

Since you prefer it, here's a quick reply.

Sooo, I guess it was mentioned in this thread and I managed to miss it - sorry Barefoot_Monkey.

Thanks!

I used the quick reply so that'll be why. I think BM has figured it out, but he's not implemented it in the release version yet.

Hmm... it doesn't seem to agree very nicely with Chrome and Tampermonkey on my system. I've now got a horizontal scroll bar permanently at the bottom of every GOG page...

Hey, I hadn't noticed it before. I get the scroll bar in both Firefox and SWare Iron and it vanishes by just disabling the userstyle, so I don't think that it's got anything to do with your system, Chrome or Tampermonkey.

Hmm, wonder what in that simple code causes the page to get double in width. I'll try to do some research over the weekend and see if I can come up with something.
