SirPrimalform: Well it's a laptop screen so it doesn't have normal brightness or contrast controls like you'd get on a standalone LCD monitor. The best I have is backlight brightness. I'm not sure what it is about the Aluminium theme that hurts my eyes because black text on a white background document is absolutely fine for me.
Ah, right. Does it change as you flip the screen back and forth? TN panels do that as they have terrible colour consistency in any but their optimal angle (usually straight on at either the bottom or top of the screen, and a slight angle at the other end), and light grey tones can seem lighter than white does.Post edited May 08, 2013 by Maighstir
