Well, been following for a while, got the gazette just now, and one point really jumps out at me:
“ it’s time to talk about multiplayer. Cinematics, Crowd Choice, and Twitch integration.”
I really have a bad feeling about BG3. The videos have been pretty bad, hammy cliched characters. It’s Parian, and Original sin characters/storyline was far to comedic jokey. Now social features. Another quote for you:
“ With Crowd Choice, a Stadia Enhanced Feature, you’ll be able to choose the next story path and alter what happens next during your favorite YouTube Creator's livestream.”.
Really lost any interest I might have had, specifically targetting a different t demography I think.
The real question is if any of that is going to impact my offline single-player experience in any way. If not, then who gives a shit. Let the social media junkies do whatever.

It's essentially just viewers getting to vote on speech options? Besides, you'll never see it if you don't stream and/or use Stadia. I don't see how this would be an issue for someone looking to play the game itself.
It would be a hard for any studio tasked with developing bg 3 to create a satisfactory look pre game release

at least we have a hell of a trailer and to be honest, i saw some combat interactions that seemed to work out very well done...

and to be honest, this new feature looks to be a blast for anyone who is interested in such a thing.... a bit of roleplaying together right? or the next level of interaction with your favorite youtuber. On youtube i suddenly got on track of group that calles themselves the templin institute. There offering consists of indepth explanatory video's about races, factions and stories the fantasy and fictions worlds are rich. They also play Stellaris and tell stories about their experience in a way that seems to be enjoyable for a lot of people. For their next Stellaris playthrough they seem to have picked a similar line as what you can expect with Baldurs Gate. Of course DnD has always been more about the play and fantasize together aspect then for single player, and certainly with technology at least decades behind the beginning of human like artificial entitties in game, you can expect certain features of the single player not to be as well thought out as they could be.

already decided that i won't be plunging in with the rest of the world but wait at least some time before i will purchase the game but, that the game will be part of my library at a certain point, that, is a no brainer
If it doesn't have the option to use 2nd Edition rules, it's already bad. Call me a grognard, if you want.

Concerning, yes, but I agree with Breja: as long as none of this affects single player, I don't give a shit.
probably just another lets be an inclusive game

Mmm, perhaps. Let’s wait and see. I really wasn’t impressed with either original sin (though I did enjoy divinity 2 and previous games). It just worries me all these phrases which put me off, plus what I have seen so far. I suppose at least beamdog won’t get any cash for slapping a widescreen on it!
Ive watched this too. I think they are making mistake. After 20 year in game industry and yet they are gonna do some EA + playtester fest. Jesus.

Make a publishing deal with CDPR. Turn it into Trilogy. and show some skills. imho. PC-title needs good business model I think they should sell Companions, maybeb even Campaigns.

Depends on you though, me I don't do multiplayer, at all, no interest in any of it. I generally only play solo in RPG games as well.
In fact, everything in that video worries me. It comes across more as a social networking game.
Anyways, I am not making up y mind now, will wait and see. As I did not like DS:oS 1 or 2, will wait a fair while before picking this up.

yea i was about to ask if you where familiar with how choices could play out in original sin. There you also had the choice options here and there which where a bit awkward in single player with you taking both sides of the coin
