It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

jcoa: And Desura's suddenly not working, got an error 503.

LootHunter: Wait! Do you mean Desura actually worked? Because I tried to download a client (to install games) and it refused to do so (page not foud or something like that, it was about a month ago).
Website + download directly from their website was working (well, depending on the period :P), client is no longer functional and won't be until they will release new version of it (IF it will be released at all).
It's running slower than molasses, but the site is back up for now.
I'm afraid to log in and it tells me about password because the odds of remembering that is not high to say the least.

Well, you did find your way back to GOG after all these years, and you are probably using the same password on Desura.

Nah. That's why I'm afraid.
Well guys, Desura is officially dead, it is even not listed on Google Search anymore.

Just noticed that the domain doesn't seem to be registered any more.

Really? Where did you look? According to both who.is and whois.icann.org the domain was updated on November 2016 and will expire on March 2020.

Ok, I may be misunderstanding the error. What do you see when you go to www.desura.com ?

SirPrimalform: ...
You seem to be asking me there what do I get if I go to www.desura.com with my browser, right? What I get is the default Firefox error page whenever a server is down (see attached screencap). This simply means that the server is down, but isn't telling anything about the domain registry status. You can have multiple registered domains and never put them online.

PS: As for how to get multiple links in a line to work properly: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/multiple_links_in_a_line_workaround

Weird, I get an uncommon error from my ISP which I interpreted to mean the DNS didn't recognise the domain.

Oh yeah, and I would have fixed that link long ago except GOG is being unbelievably unresponsive for me today.
Any news? Or better just forget about it?

Personally I gave up years ago. Even the Oneplay announcement never amounted to much.
I had some games and music on my Indie Royale account and when I wanted to download and backup everything I found out it was dead :(

And they stopped updating their ETA back in Q3 2017, so...
