How do you change or add an avatar?

Go to your account (click basically any link that's not your profile/feed under your nickname in the navigation menu), then click on "orders & settings" and choose "account and locale".
Or use this link: https://www.gog.com/account/settings/personal
Edit: in Galaxy, you can click your avatar in the top left corner and select "account management".

Yes, it takes time for some inexplicable reason. It has been like that for years... It's there when I hover your nickname/avatar but it's not displayed normally. shrug
