It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I don't know why and support can't seem to help me. I click the down arrow, move my cursor over "assign tags", slide over to click or unclick a tag name, and as soon as the cursor goes off of the "assign tags" tab towards the list, the list minimize/disappear before I can do any selecting. I know how it is supposed to function, it's not functioning like that. It used to work fine, now it is not. It seems like something happening for some stupid reason and I can't figure it out. Anyone else have this happen or know how I can make it stop happening? It's so weird, and very annoying.

I've the same problem.
I actually never even tried the tags, do they do something besides, well, having a tag? To clarify my question, on steam i can have different lists with the tags for better organization, from what i can see with the gog tags, it only appears the tag bellow the game's name.

Edit: Just realized that gog has an advantage over Steam, you can actually edit/remove tags.

I tried it once and that was to remove preassigned tags
It's working on Chrome, but not on Pale Moon. Seems like GOG is always quarreling with Firefox-based browsers.

Well, once you assign a tag to some games, you can filter by said tag and it will only display the tagged games in your account.

Oh i see, kind of useful, gonna use it... The problem is that now i'm having the same problem as the others, it was working just fine until i started filtering the games, now it also disappears as soon as i try to select the tag. Oh gog...

What browser? As I mentioned above, it works on Chrome, but not on Pale Moon (and likely Firefox).

Firefox but now i'm getting somewhere, if you press once to select the tag but you don't actually select it then the next time you try to add a tag the bug starts.
On the other hand, if you click on the picture (instead of the downside arrow) you can use that menu to add the tags, it doesn't activate the bug.
Firefox, which I guess is the problem. They said to try a different browser. Umm, no. It should work on firefox. I have no other browsers installed and I don't intend to.

Did they just say to try a different browser or that they'll look into it and to try a different browser in the meantime?

Here's the full message:

Hello,

I am afraid that I was unable to reproduce your problem.
Please try clearing your browser's cache and cookie files, and let me know if the problem persists. After the cache is cleared, I strongly suggest performing a full reload of the site (Ctrl-R), then logging out and back in.
It is also possible that some plugin or add-on is interfering, so please try a different browser to see if the problem persists.
Please also check if your antivirus or firewall software is not interfering - ideally by adding gog.com to its whitelist/trusted list.

Best regards,
qp0n

Nothing has changed for me before/since it was working until now when it is not working. I tried uninstalling flash player most recently to see if that helped, it did not.
I stopped using the tags when I realized that I cannot apply them to the all catalog :(

I'm not quite sure what you mean.
I don't think it's a very good feature, or at least, it's not implemented well at all, especially combined with the un-bundling. It does at least however allow me to have some sort of control and organization over my own library shelves of games. I just have them alphabetical and then in various categories and I can see and sort okay. Except for now that I can't change the status of any of the games. I still don't understand why I can't custom sort my own shelves, why I can't choose to combine games for shelf-space efficiency, or even design how big I want my shelves to be. Maybe it is all a scheme to try and get me to use galaxy?
I miss those boxes. Someone should work on gresemonkey script to get boxes back on shelf (as box art are still present in gogmix).

Some games I only bought on gog because their boxes looked good on shelf.
They fixed it!
