te_lanus: Anyway it is free as no monies have changed hands.
No, that doesn't make it free, because the user has to pay a cost for receiving it by way of installing and maintaining a DRM client onto their machine, and using that same DRM client every time they launch the game.

And no, it's not the same as GOG, because GOG Galaxy is optional and because GOG provides DRM-free backup copies of its games.
I'll pass because of Uplay, but that's pretty awesome for people who don't mind it. I'm almost shocked here.
Would be awesome if they release this serie here... Shame

How entitled can you get?
Yep Got it Ass that it is a 50 gig download also Ubisoft is BATSHIT insane to see the tragic loss of Notre Dame
as a great PR Opportunity

weird thing is Uplay is Better then steam at least when you download stuff as soon as you hit Pause it stops instantly not like steams stupid wind up/wind down procedure

at least when you get achievements in Uplay you get coins that you can spend on stuff.

Cool
Nice that they're giving it away free for other people but I'd actually give them money if they'd make it DRM-free.

good gesture on their part.

I will, however, wait for when these games will be released on GOG.
