I would have figured the new indie game submission portal might give ASA another shot at being on GOG.

Crosmando: I have this game on Desura, and GOG rejecting it is pretty stupid. That being said, the game does have some problems that hold it back, I had to install some patch for it to even start, or it would just give me an error message and refuse to launch. Also the game has a very jittery and glitchy feel in game, like it's about to crash at any moment. Again I do hope it gets on GOG but perhaps "polishing" it more will convince them.

tokisto: Did not GOG put new politics of helping devs getting their games here? Why it can´t help polish this one or do a proposal to the dev...
I think it's too much to expect them to also start polishing games which don't meet their requirements.
And they did say which faults made them refuse the game, so the developer could still try and polish the game. But that also takes up time and resources...

From what I saw, the game does seem quite interesting.

When I mean "polishing" I say to GOG helps with time, money and another chance to the game.

Well, that's expecting even more from them, in my opinion. Another chance is no problem, I guess. And depending on how much the devolper makes from selling his game on other platforms, he might just get to it and fix some of the bigger problems :)
I also own this on Desura and the game does have its technical problems. While I would have liked to have seen this game on GOG, I would like to have seen the developers address the technical problems even more. I for one approve of GOG using such standards to decide whether or not a game is worthy of being sold on GOG. If only they applied that kind of thinking to the review section!

For everyone that was unaware or has forgotten about this game, A Space Adventure just got a massive upgrade with the release of the Remastered Edition.

Hopefully talks are already under way to bring this game to GOG now that their concerns have assuredly been alleviated.

If not and you are like me and wish to see this modern good old game on sale here, cast your vote on the wishlist. Hopefully this will spur things along. It would be a shame to have this game relegated only to Steam and other smaller sites.
Hope the remastered version gets released here! I can't believe some of the trash they accept and yet a potentially great game like this one gets rejected?

I'm just wondering if GOG is turning towards plain 'Good Old Greed' and just shovelling half finished indie crap out for a quick sale!

Unfortunately, GOG rejected ASA AGAIN. What is going on, GOG - is such a solid game "not good enough" for you?

"There won't be a GOG release of the game. I won't give the details, but they're "not convinced" and not encouraged by the "lack of attention on Steam"."
So GOG reckons its customer demographic basically resembles Steam's now?

Hmmmm.

I'll buy it elsewhere then, really getting sick of GOG and the myriad of indie garbage they peddle, they are not 'GOOD' nor 'OLD' and some are questionable as 'GAMES' but it bloats your catalogue to make it look good!

I'll probably buy it on Steam pretty soon, no point in waiting anymore. Bummer.

Already bought it, did it straight after my previous post! Like you say, no point waiting.
