acute71: You couldn't post your comment in one of the countless already existing topics about this?
The number of topics about this issue is getting a bit out of control.
Captainchicken84: There still isn't enough outrage about that!
Being outraged over a game that got banned because the Chinese government didn't like, This is truly the greatest battle of our time.
You heard it here folks, World War 3 is gonna start because muh videogames.
Invasion10: This "outrage" or "cancel" culture really needs to stop. Communication and civilized discussions are much better options.
TencentInvestor: Isn't GOG's communication flawed, though? I have seen a disconnection between their description of the company and the reality I observed about it. This place is not the DRM free Gamer's first paradise it was advertised as. There is too much compromise on these core principles. They are putting a lot of things first but not the interests of gamers.
The only thing that GOG has going for it right now is the above average customer-friendly refund policy they promise.
If the refunds come through as promised, anyway.
I remember the days when this store was Good Old Games, meant to just sell and preserve video games, especially PC games of yore like Fallout 1 and such.
But then I guess when the money came pouring in and good word of mouth, and the success they got with Witcher 2 and 3, they had ambitions to be more then just selling Good Old Games. Then the deluge of shovelware indie games became regular releases here.
