acute71: You couldn't post your comment in one of the countless already existing topics about this?

The number of topics about this issue is getting a bit out of control.

Captainchicken84: There still isn't enough outrage about that!
Being outraged over a game that got banned because the Chinese government didn't like, This is truly the greatest battle of our time.

You heard it here folks, World War 3 is gonna start because muh videogames.

Invasion10: This "outrage" or "cancel" culture really needs to stop. Communication and civilized discussions are much better options.

TencentInvestor: Isn't GOG's communication flawed, though? I have seen a disconnection between their description of the company and the reality I observed about it. This place is not the DRM free Gamer's first paradise it was advertised as. There is too much compromise on these core principles. They are putting a lot of things first but not the interests of gamers.

The only thing that GOG has going for it right now is the above average customer-friendly refund policy they promise.
If the refunds come through as promised, anyway.
I remember the days when this store was Good Old Games, meant to just sell and preserve video games, especially PC games of yore like Fallout 1 and such.

But then I guess when the money came pouring in and good word of mouth, and the success they got with Witcher 2 and 3, they had ambitions to be more then just selling Good Old Games. Then the deluge of shovelware indie games became regular releases here.

SuperLibby72: Religious nuts to Twitter SJWs have already been shutting people and companies down. What you said has already been going in the west for years now.
Pretty sure the religious nuts gave up on censorship when D&D did NOT turn the seething masses in to a pile of satanic crack whores.
Now, if by religious nuts you mean the massive Islamic faction trying to change the face of America, then I heartily agree. They'll stop at nothing to remove police from the streets and replace them with Islamic enforcers.

I miss those days too. I got on here because they were giving away the original two Fallout games back when they were just about to be discontinued. I have never been one for indie titles, with only a handful of exceptions. The last release that gave me much excitement on here was Silverfall and then Drakensang. Unfortunately, the actual good old game releases are becoming spread thinner and thinner and that is not strictly because there are no as of yet un-rereleased good old(er) games.

(My post did not seem to work earlier, so apologies if there is a duplicate of this.)
I'm more focused on Chinas concentration camps and their facial recognition system to spot Uighur minorities.
