Leucius: There's merits in not using the same name for everything. However, in gaming, it's easier to use one name for online gaming if you're trying to get into a top end guild in an mmo, for example.

However, it really depends on what you post and how you post it, and a lot of people today don't realize there's a copy of everything you post on the internet - so while some people love to troll, in a hundred years if we're still around, researchers are going to wonder why we were such dicks to each other in the beginning years of online civilization.
