Hey thanks for all the suggestions.
Also i played NFS most wanted back in the day in 2007 and Dethkarz i do have but need to install it.

There's nothing like the Carmageddons but as car combat goes you may enjoy Axelerator.

It's free too on Zoom Platform.
recently became free on Steam too. I hope it comes to GOG eventually but they seem to be sticklers for adding even highly-voted free games unfortunately.

Unless you mind going back to PS2/PS3 there's some excellent race'n-crash-based games:

Burnout 3: Takedown
Burnout 4: Revenge
Burnout 5: Dominator

I just absolutely love those games and reminds me of Carmageddon in many ways.
