Like, all of them.
Not really, but they've been a neglected part of GOG for quite a while. A shame, since grouping games around a single theme/concept/mechanic/etc. is a neat idea that could be used to make promos/contests or simply to promote underrated games by the community.
Yes they are, but we've been told that they'll return. Someday. In one form or another.

Yes, there have been multiple threads on that.
Yes, I did notice, no I don't care.

As I said on an earlier thread, most of them were widgety lists of overtly specific criteria and many of them were poorly used.

Okay, I must have been out of the loop! Last time I talked about it here, the debate was just about that it was impossible to create new ones.

I must have had a feeling this might happen because I backed up my roguelike mix on archive org:

(Thanks for screwing up my link, gog)

It looks like they were last seen October 9. 2018:

Thats exactly what I liked about them. Kind of a (sometimes commented) tagging system.

They've been replaced by the "curated" lists on the front page. No more specific lists from specific users unless you're a famous youtube personality or games journalist. And then, it's just their favorite games, not any specific tags (like the exceptionally helpful "Developers that treat GOG users as second class citizens")

Sure, but even the BOG wasn't clear about why the games in the collection were 'bad'.

Many of those mixes could have been better - especially they should have added proper comments/explanations. But for me they were still useful. So IMO removing the GOGMixes made GOG worse.
Rubbish. Next thing you'll tell me they redisgned the front page to be a horrendous, unusable mess.
