Like every summer, i almost subconsciously install and have an 100% run, through this timeless classic. This time round, though, i am very bored and would gladly go after Hot Coffee and the Multiplayer mod. No no, i tried V and didn't like it not nearly HALF, as san andreas, so no mentioning this, please.

Last time i used the downgrade patch on my trilogy copy of the game (which is 2.0 version), it worked fine, but within XP environment. Last time i tried that in my Win 7, i got an error report and i could never use it. Anyone could send me to a working downgrade patch link, please? About the rest (hot coffee, multiplayer), i already have them...

What does the patch do?
Restore the songs that were removed?

Reverts the game back to 1.0 version. It can be modded. The 1.1 patch that was integrated in every retail copy shortly after the Hot Coffee controversy, destroyed mod compatibility with game, especially the Hot Coffee mod. This patch does nothing else, though and i really doubt it will work for steam version. It was created before GTA got on steam and especially, before that godawful update. Was meant for the retail version and all. But it is incompatible with win 7, at least the one i knew, had, used and burnt before. Gee, thanks, now you made me feel even older!
