zeogold: I think he means he's keeping a running total of how much he's spent on GOG.

Tpiom: Exactly, see the attached picture re-posted in the first post.
...what happened in the summer of '14? O_o
I scrape off the games I find in sales for less than 2 dollars. Call me a cheapwad but I'll eventually have a huge collection of games that I barely paid much for. Win-Win. Although my library will be a lot of late 90s/early 2000s overlooked games. I can't be the only one who does this?
Sort of, i do look at a statement for the year...i say look i mean glance.
I believe i spend around 20-25 euro a month.i m not a compulsive buyer and only buy old games that i love

I do this a lot. I have to wait a long time sometimes for games and sale prices. Sucks not having a lot of resources.

Being cheap isn't bad, you being as efficient with your money as you can be. Great game but costs $12? I'll wait till it's $6, if it never gets under sometimes I'll just acquire it and wait for a sale. Sorry guys but food rent and health and other things take priority. The other companies will get their money, just not right now at the current prices. Who knows.

timppu: What do you mean by "tracking"? GOG already keeps track of your purchases:month.

Afterwards (e.g. "Ok so in 2015 I used this much money on GOG games, interesting..."), or as some kind of limit beforehand how much money one is allowed to use on them per month?

I am not too interested to keep track how much money in the past I've used on games, in fact I'd rather not even think about it afterwards. :) As for future, the limit depends on how good I consider my monetary situation to be, e.g. how many other bills I need to pay the same month, or if I am running low on money, or I am supposed to save money on something in the future...
