I came across this game on the RPS web site about a month back, and immediately fell in love with it! Trouble is it is slated for a Steam and PS4 release, and the devs are pretty small and focused on just those releases for now. I think it would be a great game to have on GOG also (obviously) and have created a 'wishlist' entry for it (so please add your vote if you like the look of the game).

Maybe if others here like the game we can encourage a GOG release sooner rather than later? :) Here are some links for more info:

Looks quite nice, PS4 and Steam, very unlikely to come here then.
Also, in the image below the title on their page, does the tall blue figure not remarkable look like Hoji from Shadow Warrior 2013? And the music on the video is very LOTR inspired shall we say.
Looks nice, but the description sounds like the most boring game ever made. "farming, crafting, cooking, fishing and brewing" how about doing the dishes and mowing the lawn? Too exciting for you? Minesweeper sounds like more fun :P

Are there no monsters to fight? No loot to... uhm, loot? Not even any puzzles?

Breja, you really need to get those anger issues looked at, needing monsters to fight all the time. Try something mellow like painting.

(BTW thats sarcasm, of course its all about wiping everything you can get your hands on and stealing everything including nailed down).

Your right though, I only looked at video and thought maybe something Little Big Adventure like, but that sounds a bit dull.

Breja smash puny painting!
Here's the wishlist link OP talked about. Twitter harassing devs about a GOG release seems to work a million times better than the wishlist, though.

For some of us, ineptitude at those things causes them to become unintentionally exciting and violent. Killing is easy. Cooking skill seems to require a deal with the devil unless you're willing to sacrifice a building to the cooking gods every time you want muffins.

But hey, the idea of fixing encroaching darkness with those things is entertainingly bizarre. The game's website makes it sound like competency at various things triggers "Sprites" to fix the darkness on your behalf, though, which makes your character less of a hero than the person who provides beer to heroes. A hero-adjacent enabler at best.

"Killing is easy" - come back after you have knocked the Cyberdemon off with just your fists on insane difficulty and tells us how it compares to applying so heat to food. I am afraid this whole notion of cooking being difficult is being pushed out by highly paid chefs on tv, you don't for instance have to twirl as you po salt on something, it doesn't affect the flavour, nor in fact does making really tiny portions of ooh la fart with an uncooked egg on top.

(/rant, cant stand cookery, food programs, chefs or anything to do with it)

Well that was 'exact;y' what caught my interest in the game! How many games have fighting in them as a core mechanic? 99% of all games, perhaps. This is different, and different can sometimes be great (like a new cuisine!). Even the classic 'zelda' series has lots and lots of fighting, and this sort of remined of that series later games (Wind-Walker etc), but more about the building and crafting and exploration. There is a 'main quest' to follow and puzzles to solve, but it is very specifically designed to not be about button mashing and pixel killing. Solve problems without violence :)

In the RPS thread i linked they mention they are thinking about a GOG release also at a later date, just that for a small team (3 people) they will focus on Steam and PS4 at release. So i'm hoping some encouragement from our end might prompt that GOG release sooner rather than later (or woe-is-me, not at all!!).

LOL, While I do love my virtual murder rampages (Like stacking headless raiders in a large pile after cleaning out a besieged town/dungeon) I do like building shit, as I spent at least 60 hours erecting my many fortresses in FO4! I'm still gonna support the devs by snagging this game (Maybe a Humble deal) via the enemy, and will buy it again here if it's released!

So yeah, I hope it comes here as well, but I'll wait for a deep discount before buying it via Humble/steam...As "gaben" can kindly eat literal burning shit and die, as I detest that bloated walrus!...

Necro-posted to enable interest for this game...

We're looking into other platforms, promise. However, we are also working on polishing up what we already have released, getting new languages in for a broader community, etc. So our time often gets split.

We'll keep everyone updated on progress.
Looks like the sort of shiny 3d that isn't going to murder me. Do want, and voted.
