It's fairly unique but System Shock 2?
In Deadly Premonition the zombies say 'I don't want to diiiie'
While in SS2 they say 'Kiiill meeee'
- that's what reminded me!

Overblood, the poor man's Resident Evil. I wouldn't call it amazing, though.

this game has amazing atmosphere and music Top natch but the
gameplay is the worst...shame

Much too different in terms of gameplay (it's more like flipping through a disjointed summer holiday crosswords-and-games beach book), but it may be worth noting that the whole pretext background of "Puzzle Agent" is a delicious delicious hommage to the twin peaks atmosphere.
