I noticed that Sleeping Dogs is down to 3 Euro and I was wondering if there are any other great titles that went under 5 Euro during the sale.

Alternatively it would be pretty sweet if you can suggest a dynamic game with an epic story that transcends space and time and has likeable characters like StarCraft is story-wise. This one could be more expensive, but I don't want any ongoing franchises - only complete stories.

You can check out my profile for the list of games that I own.

Update: I ended up getting Stranglehold. Thanks, everyone, for the great suggestions!

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is currently -66% off. I can wholeheartedly recommend this game. It is definitely my favourite game of all time for its sense of humour, engaging storyline and the fact that characters have unique personalities and are neither good nor bad, it's up to you to decide!

It is a very good game and historical not fantasy or kiddie cute like most games.
For less than 5eu Heroes of Might and Magic® 5: Bundle 5 euro :P
or Mad Max 5 euro too
Homeworld® Remastered Collection -90% 3,19eu
I've enjoyed these games , I bet you would too
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Hellbade: Senua Sacrifice
Darksiders 1 & 2
Saints Row: The Third (non remastered) & IV
Not into historical, but this one looks interesting indeed. I'll check it out online. Thank you!

I didn't even know Mad Max was on gog. Good call! Thank you!
I've been drooling over Homeworld for a while, but they're making a third one now and I've had my share of unfinished stories, so I'm very reluctant to buy it.

ssling: Darksiders 1 & 2
Saints Row: The Third (non remastered) & IV
These really hit the right spot, but I have them already.

It looks very good... but it also is part of the reward bundle in the Summer Sale contest. Honestly I think you guys made a mistake by having the contest run all the way to the 28th, so as long as the Sale. You should have left a day or two for people who took part in the contest but did not win to buy some of the games they will, logically, hold off on buying while they still hope win (like yours truly).

It's less well-known than Sleeping Dogs, but The Saboteur is another good, somewhat older open-world action game that should be under €5 (as it's currently $4.99 in the U.S.).
The Batman: Arkham games are the same price here, as are the first two Bioshocks.

Of course, regional pricing could mean that any or all of these could wind up above the €5 threshold for you.
Alien versus Predator, Sleeping Dogs, Deus Ex Human Revolution...

I do understand your point, I will forward your feedback to the right team for future reference! Keeping in mind our user-friendly refund policy, one could purchase the game while on sale, and if they win it, simply refund the purchased one.

To keep it on topic I can also add Far Cry 2 [2.69 EUR]

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is my pick. Great game and highly rated. Only around $4 right now.
Some more sugestions:

- Spec Ops: The Line
- Styx: Master of Shadows
- Aragami
- The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

Bioshock was a really good call. It also has the universe level story I'm looking for.
Someone else suggested Homeworld too, but I'm not sure I want to invest into ongoing franchises when there are rumours going around about both having a sequel in the works.

I have it already. Not my type, but I had a blast with this one. Definitely worth even at full price!

Some great suggestions indeed. Thanks!
I ended up getting Stranglehold. Fits the price range and it will be a good addition to Sleeping Dogs.

The search for an universe level or multi-world epic story like StarCraft, Bioshock and Darksiders still continues though.

Thanks, everyone, for the great suggestions! I'll keep them in mind for the next sale.
