That's not a sidescroller.

(Of course, that game *does* have a reputation for being awful, but I can't imagine it being as bad as the NES "port" of Ultima 5.)

It isn't a sidescroller, yes. But it does involve a lot of 2D platforming. :p (X, Z, illusion of Y.)
