At least the first mentioned Sokobond dev is active on Twitter (and promotes his email address there) :-(

elcook: For some time now, we’re working on relocating GOG Ltd. as a company from Cyprus to Poland (legally speaking our Cypriot GOG and Polish GOG are merging into one GOG located in Poland), and this should happen with the end of October. This whole endeavor requires a lot of paper work, mostly legal and financial, and time. It won’t affect your rights as users in any way, and you don’t have to do anything when the merger is done. There is one change that will happen, and we want to give you a heads up about it. Since we’re merging, we have to assign all the license agreements with all our partners to GOG located in Poland. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and almost all of them will be assigned. Unfortunately, some partners are very hard to reach, even for us, and since we didn’t manage to get their consents to this assignment we’ll have to remove a few titles from the catalogue until further notice.

Below you’ll find a list of all 15 titles that will be removed from the catalogue on October 31st, at 3 PM UTC. We will be doing everything to get those titles back, but we cannot promise when they will make a return to GOG, so this might be your last chance to buy them, or grab Warsow and AFK The Pirate Bay Away from Keyboard for free!

Titles to be removed on October 31st:

FRACT OSC
Slender The Arrival
Recettear An Item Shop's Tale
Chantelise - A Tale of Two Sisters
Warsow (free)
Fractured Soul
Miasmata
Mutant Mudds
Dyad
Sokobond
Chronology
Devil's Dare
99 Levels to Hell
The Ballads of Reemus: When The Bed Bites
TPB AFK: The Pirate Bay Away from Keyboard (free)
Thanks for the heads up. I'll be picking a couple of those up for sure
Thank you for the heads-up!

TBH, Recettear and Chantelise are the only ones I'm really sad about because Recettear had a few hundred votes - https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/recettear_an_item_shops_tale - and Chantelise is by association.

(Good to see Slender go tbh, because that dev kept f**king GOG users over.)

With Warsaw leaving, perhaps another Christmas freebie could show up, like Halloween Harry! (He should come this Halloween! :P)

Djaron: another problem, for me, is the whole store page suddenly dissapearing. would it be that hard to just keep the store page (which holds important info, such as reviews, but also minimum/recommended requirements, and devs/publishers information), but just remove or disable the "buy"/add to cart button ? i mean, is it really that hard ?
I think it would be good if they had a link for the owners of the game directly to the archived store page and/or reviews from their game library. There would likely be a bit of a nightmare for support if they kept the store pages up so anyone could access them - people would likely barrage them with "How come the 'buy' button isn't there? Why can't I buy the game?" I guess they could put a message in that spot stating the game is no longer for sale and the page exists only for archival purposes though...
Thanks for the heads up. Can anyone tell me what the difference between the version of Mutant Mudds here and the deluxe edition on Steam is? I'm having a hard time finding an answer.

Edit: Extra levels? That seems to be what an article I found on the 3DS version says.

elcook: snip
Will there be an announcement because of this in the language specific subforums as well? People who don't speak English might miss out on these otherwise. Just a suggestion here.

From the wikipedia article, there appears to be 20 additional levels after the original 60 released for the 3DS version:
The 20 bonus levels, included in the PC version of the game and as free downloadable content for the 3DS version, sees players taking control of Max's grandmother, Granny. She is able to use all of the upgrades simultaneously.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutant_Mudds

Looks like GoG just copied the text from the publisher's website while Steam just added 20 to the count.
Much thanks for the heads up. Always a shame to see games go, especially on these circumstances, but better to not have dusty cobwebs of games cluttering up the metaphysical space.

And now for the mandatory joke:

I wonder what games will replace those slots?

and/or

Why not remove Empire Earth III while the closet is being cleaned?
Much ta for the heads up...

Picked up Sokobond since I don't have many good puzzle games and it kind of reminds me of Atomino (which I loved on the Amiga).

Recettear An Item Shop's Tale and Chantelise - A Tale of Two Sisters look really good, but I can't buy more games right now.

From my own experience I can really recommend Dyad if you are into those "frantic-zen-meditation" kind of games.
Already own Chantelise and Recettear but im still kinda gutted by their removal.
I hope they return soon, tho reaching Carpe Fulgur could indeed be difficult. Havent heard anything substancial from them in ages.
At any rate i wholeheartedly recommend both games.

Thank you for letting us know!
Could you mark the topic with the blue spot please? Seems important, would be much easier to spot..
Doesn't look like much of a loss.
Don't worry about Carpe Fulgur games (afaik)! - https://twitter.com/SpaceDrakeCF/status/923255481379954688

Silly GOG, why didn't you even try Twitter? :P EDIT: I suppose for legal reasons/NDA they wouldn't want to even hint on this over Twitter (even tweeting at Andrew "Hey can you follow us so we can message you"), but still...

You know, sometimes Twitter is not the tool you'd like to use. And remember it's not our first contact with these guys, since we did sign agreements with them ;)
Nevertheless, let's hope more partners will reach out so we won't have to remove their games from the catalogue!
