So this project was mentioned a few months back, but as that was just the test version, I figured I'd make a thread now that it's ~finished~. Ambermoon.NET is a PC port of the original German Amiga CRPG from 1993 made by an awesome dude called Pyrdacor. There's a Windows, Linux and Mac version.

Cool, definitely going to try it some time. I'm a big fan of the spiritual successor Albion, and judging from screenshots Ambermoon seems to feature quite similar gameplay.
Looks cool, will have a deeper look over weekend.

takes me back to '13/'14, iirc PiranJade tried to figure out who had the rights for Amberstar and Ambermoon.

Very similar games, Albion was essentially a spiritual successor to Ambermoon.

Good news for this vintage title. Even a bit obscure as a classic, and it deserves more visibility
This game is fantastic. The port was a great oportunity to enjoy this classic in native windows without the hassle of emulation. Maybe it's me, but Sadly I tried a couple of versions and the port crashes just in the beginning around entering the basement, using inventory etc.

I will wait. I am sure things will improve.
