TheBigCore: Any ideas what Amazon Prime games will be on GOG for August?
No information yet. The full list usually appears on the first Thursday of a month on Prime Gaming Blog (so if they will not make exception for next month, it will be August 7th). We would probably know first games before that date, once they appear for redeeming.

Thanks for the August listing. Only own 1 game out of it, so looks like a good month for me. :)

Ok, another mixed bag but Civ III is nice to see, even if I have it on Steam. Hoping they continue on that track and give away Civ IV (still haven't played it) and the seminal classic Alpha Centauri as well over the next months! For anyone who didn't notice yet the underrated 2014 Thief (not a great Thief game but still a good time on its own terms) actually has some nice goodies, including a soundtrack and a couple of digital comics—been awhile since I've seen any extras in recent GOG additions.

If they ever make another Thief game, its title needs to be: Thief 4 - The Search for More Garrett

:D

Lol. They for sure should consider the Black Parade route of a completely new protagonist, in the event. Reference Garrett as some legend, or have him as a mentor or something sure, but let the man retire and move the setting forward.

I thought the new game had a lot of potential. It needed a bit more interactivity for gadgets/arrows and actual free-form parkour. If the whole game had been like the excellent mansion heist and maybe a couple of levels longer, it would've been legitimately great. The writing is edgy pap of course but it's serviceable—there's loads of atmosphere and exploration to fill in for it.
Amazon prime gaming is an absolute jackpot deal if you're looking to build your gog library.
There's one lingering question I've always had about the Amazon Prime GOG keys, though:

Why no Star Trek Amazon Prime GOG keys? They're always offering keys for the various Star Wars, but not Trek.

Star Trek has a lot of great games sold on GOG, like Elite Force, Armada, 25th Anniversary, Starfleet Command, Bridge Commander, etc.

They have deals, even partnerships, with Disney but not with Activision?
Since more D&D games are coming as Amazon GOG Prime keys:

Hope we get the Dark Sun collection. Those games (& setting) are legitimately terrific!

I did love the second one, wonderful. I've never had the opportunity to play the first one ;-(

I never finished the second, remember really enjoying it though—more of the same. They were peak early nineties RPGs before Fallout blew everyone's mind. Review consensus seems to be the first game was the goat while the second was a little buggy. Everything was rushed out in under a year back then, especially sequels to popular games.

If for some reason it doesn't show up on Amazon, at least GOG sells the series (fairly cheap and which I own all that are available so far) in case someone really wanted it.

COv 3 has been on GOG for a long time; it is only new to Amazpn Prime games.
