I thought I'd make a thread to discuss this and draw more attention to it.

Remember to vote if you think this should be a feature!

I think this would just be a nice extra bit of creativity in the forums as users could set more interesting 'from' locations. What do you think, do you like it or am I wasting my time?

I keep telling them to make "Pangaea" an option, but I guess this would work too. :D

At this point I'm just glad we get to chose period. It's goddamn embarrassing now a days to admit you are from the United States.

I agree!! I will set my location as "southern Brazil" because the south is my country.

Yeah, I came up with this after seeing endless wishes for x & y and thought this would be a bit simpler.

Honestly, on a forum like this, with people form all over the world I sometimes find it helpful knowing what country someone is from. But since we can set any random country anyway, I guess we can go with just any fictional place as well. Sure, fine, whatever.

Fair point, but those from the Disunited 'Kingdom' (Eg: me) should be allowed to set that as their country.
