After Cyberpunk 2077, what is the worst optimized game of all time?

The thread title makes sense if you play on previous generation consoles. In case anyone missed it, CüberPunk2077 runs like sh*t on them.

I think they should either have postponed releasing on the old consoles or completely skipped them.

Games ported between conole and PC, eiher way, are too often having problems on the ported to platform. I wonder if they train new programmers by letting them do the porting.

I never had a game console so will stay out of this thread after this.

Cyberpunk ran very well on my 2070. It needs DLSS to run well at high settings though, so I can see why many with a relatively comparable 1080ti were annoyed at using medium settings because they don't have DLSS.

Anyway... Crysis's poor use of CPUs is probably the biggest offender off the top of my head. Even today there are sections you can't get 60fps in, because the game just flat out refuses to use multiple CPU cores at all and yet demands a lot from the CPU. Just a basic flaw in how they designed their engine and game. Even the remaster suffers from this somewhat, though it is better.

ArmA 3 suffers from the same problem. It's still one of the best shooters on PC, and I love it deeply, but it's pretty bad at utilizing multi-core. IIRC ArmA 2 runs even worse.

Ark: Survival Evolved has a reputation for performing like garbage, even on very high end PCs. But, I haven't played it myself and they might have improved it by now.
