AdventureX is a convention dedicated to Adventure (point and click and other narrative games e.g visual novels, interactive fiction, RPGs). We are now in our fifth year, the convention has several parts; a talk room where various panels and talks talk place and an exhibition area where you can show off your games or go and play game demos and meet devs.

Shame these things are always in London. I'd reckon if you did Manc / elsewhere oop norf) you'd maybe get more people attending (probably save some costs as well).

Yeah, London is so far. Even for people from UK. :P

Well, just consider its right near the bottom of the UK and travel is either highly expensive or highly time consuming - and even worse the further north you go.

It's always a balance getting the location right. We always try and do a web stream though no promises, last year we hauled all the equipment in only to find the wi-fi timed out after 15 mins. Normally Adventure Treff film the big talks so hopefully you'll be able to see some stuff online.

It's the most expensive place in the UK. The one reason not to go. An absolute rip off. Never mind the fact that London doesn't come with subtitles which means the German tourists are a lot easier to understand than the locals.
