Why is adding friends on GOG so complicated y'all? I am lost, and I had to post this to add my buddy to my friends list. Please add a button on the friends tab to search users.

Oh come on, just having fun. I wouldn't have bothered had this thread been about anything else. :P

Sadly at this time the only way to add someone as a friend is to click on a post they have made. You can vote in the community wishlist to make a feature for adding friends by searching: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/add_the_ability_to_search_for_gog_users_by_their_username_and_add_them_as_friends

Hopefully this feature is added soon.

It'll come when?Who knows,but I (knows) it should of been done when they added a
friends invite to avatars.

Yeah, they could've done a bit better. And I'm sure they WILL do better, eventually...but, for now, it is a silly, annoying (for everyone on the forums, as well as all the new Galaxy users who will probably do one "friendpost" apiece, then never post again) mess.
