Hello, I have a weird question. If I have a electronic copy game on my GOG account, can I activate new(same) product from CD/DVD? Thank you. :)

I'm not sure I'm understanding the question right. Are you saying you own the GOG version of this game? And also have a CD/DVD retail version of the game?

the only way gog has allowed that is via this link.

https://www.gog.com/reclaim

its very limited and your luck will be entirely hit and miss.

If you don't mind me asking. With the GOG version, do you need the CD/DVD version anymore? Also, which game is this? In case people can provide help in other ways.

I take it the codes for the retail version got lost? As far as any GOG codes, I'm not aware of them working with retail versions.

You could always try the games main website and see iff their support team can reissue you a code if you explain it to them properly. Stardock did that for me recently for Sins of the Solar Empire Trinity (a DRM free version in my case).

Then the link provided by Sachys should work fine, but since you already own the game on GOG I'm not sure how that would work. I suppose they could give you a gift code, no clue if that's true but might be worth a shot. If that doesn't work, maybe a support ticket to GOG may help in getting a gift code (again, no way for me to validate this).

So it's like on Steam... If i owned this game once, i can't use new cd-key.

But why would you want to? You already have the game and all goodies.

Since you mentioned later, that it is Witcher 2 you have, you can activate your CD/DVD key here: https://www.gog.com/witcher/backup
