Skyrim in due time, which will be after the next Elder Scrolls game releases.

Borderlands is possible, but seems unlikely if it hasn't happened yet. Take-Two is the publisher (they are the parent company for 2K - publishing arm for Borderlands) and I believe they own the Borderlands IP, but I am not sure.

GoG doesn't really have much Take-Two products It would be a huge get for GoG if they could add the Borderlands series, Bioshock series, XCOM series, Red Dead series and GTA series.

You seem to forget that both Red Dead games released thus far do not have PC ports and PC also hasn't been confirmed for RDR2. My guess is that Microsoft and Sony are jumping through hoops to keep the series exclusive to their platforms.

Well I am sure Microsoft wants Red Dead on the PC. I am sure they would love to put it up on their Win10 store. I also never said RD games had PC ports, I just said it would be great if GoG could get Take-Two's big franchises.

At this point, I am not sure if DRM is the big issue, The Witcher 3 sold huge without DRM, but 80-90 percent of its PC sales were on Steam, so if CDPR only gets 10-20% of sales of their own properties on their own site it may not be worth it to a lot of other game companies who probably see less than that.

I am thinking GoG copies of Fallout 3 and New Vegas may only account for 2-3% of PC sales for those titles. Now, that is also because of how much later they came out on this platform, but how do you avoid piracy at the start and still find it worth while a year after the fact to put a game on GoG if it will only account for such a small portion of sales?

nightcraw1er.488: Skyrim: Is possible, with the arrival of NV it means the steam reliance can be removed although bear in mind that Skyrim has Mod Workshop integration which wouldn't work here. However it will be a few years minimum as they have only just released an updated version of it. So possibly, in the future.

Borderlands: Highly unlikely. Its Gearbox, the only items on here are the Homeworld set which they brought the license for (so expecting to see them pulled at some point in the future when the old contract runs out). They also brought up the Duke franchise and then removed it from all stores only releasing a pack on Steam.
You forgot that Gearbox is publishing We Happy Few, too.
Doesn't the DLC for Borderlands 1 have Securom or something like that? I haven't played it in years but last time I did, it was still there.

I already own all three on Steam, but I'd love to have the option to pick up some DRM-free copies. These are games I will play more than once over the years.

Yes, but a quick peek of the date there shows I couldn't have known that at the time, and anyways you get to pay a lot more for that privilege. Perhaps borderlands will appear here, you got your $50 ready?

I didn't realize it was the day before the announcement. My bad. :) Just saying that they have another game here which is a halfway decent sign. I already have all the Borderlands games and all the DLC I want, so nope. Not going to rebuy.
