as the topic says im looking for a very old game, i have no idea what its called but i remember a few details about it and im hoping someone on here know what it is.

its a asian style rts game that, if you playing a 1v1 has 3 maps, the map your on and near the bottom of the map is a tower and 4 headless statues, going into the tower you appear in the 2nd map, here you can find the enemy tower and invide their map (the 3rd map clearly) or scour the map searching for the statue heads that you need villagers to collect. bringing the heads back to your statues grants you free, randomized items, ranging from resources and horses, to advanced units that are late game constructed. also this game is the first game i can remember that had mounting mechanics, so i can go to a brothel or something and recruit a specialized lord and mount him on a horse or put a average soldier on the horse..

not much to go on but thats all i got, any help would be hugely appreciated

How old is 'very old'?

Two wild guesses: Battle Realms and Tzar (has an asian faction)

My first guess would be one from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series
but i think those where turn based not real time

Three Kingdoms: Fate of the Dragon (2001)

And i hate when people talk about post 90s games as OLD. They are classics, not old. :)
Evidently I'm very old. XD

I'd type some more but I'm still trying to figure out this whole computer yhing. How do you make words appear on a flat box? What sort of black magic voodoo is this!?

Secretsniper: 1) looking for a very old game
2) its a asian style rts
3) 3 maps if you play PvP
4) near the bottom of the map is a tower and 4 headless statues
5) going into the tower you appear in the 2nd map, here you can find the enemy tower
6) and invade the enemy's map (the 3rd map clearly) or scour the map for the statue heads that villagers collect.
7) bringing the heads back to your statues grants you items (resources, horses, advanced late game units)
8) the first game i can remember that had mounting mechanics, so i can go to a brothel or something and recruit a specialized lord and mount him on a horse or put a average soldier on the horse..
There are still some question marks.

1) what does "very old mean"? And is the game 2D or 3D? I dare say: these points are essential for finding a game.
2) ok
3) that whole "maps" part I don't quite understand.
4) ok - so I guess, it's none of the games mentioned so far...is the tower always visible or do you need to scroll down?
5) again: the "maps" part I don't understand. I enter a tower (on my home base's map?) and get to a main(?) map?...
6) ...should be a main map, because there's still the third map (the enemy's home base?).
7) well, collecting heads for resources should be memorable enough. Edit: are those statues part of the GUI?
8) so, foot soldiers are able to mount horses during the game? Or is the mounting just part of a promotion upgrade?

The problem here is that you give so particular "precise" hints about some features of the game, that something should turn up on the Google-machine, but when I'm looking for games with such features - I find nothing.
