The first game is sold here, so assuming 2 will be as well.

Hotline Miami 2 was recently refused classification by the Australian Classification Board. Does GoG have any measures in place that would prevent Australian residents from purchasing it?

GOG is already selling games that have been refused classification in Australia including Risen, Postal 1 and 2, and Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude, and these games are available for purchase in Australia. However, due to an issue with GOG's parent company CD Projekt Red and the distributor for The Witcher 2, GOG was forced to sell a censored version only to Australians. But so far, AFAIK GOG has not restricted any title for purchase anywhere in the world.
And if they ever start, I'm done. Luckily I can get around this with an unlocked Steam account - and there are always the dodgy CD keyseller sites...

Really though the R18+ rating here is a joke. Pure lip service by people who still think video games are for kids
Will Hotline Miami 2 arrive on GOG?

If Australian authorities ever find out, I bet they will use some anti-terrorism laws against GOG.com.

You need better leaders. You need a revolution.

Then again, it feels to me Germany is pushing similar ideas EU wide, or so I fear. What's with anti-gamers coming to powerful positions?

Well, saves me DLing if it's censored.
Not interested in censored games,Fuck the Australian Government.

If GOG has censored games for Australia, where is this information FOUND???

Don’t know what you expect GoG to do, flagrantly break the laws of governments? I think there are some parts of Australia where even the mere possession of banned games is technically a crime too, so maybe GoG and the customer can double up in a cell for the sake of efficiency.

Seriously though, revolution.
