Please, for the love of all that is good and just....

just get this game here. Fu... Ahm.. Screw Steam. So tired of their damned "monopoly" on certain games/companies. The most anti-consumer gaming company ever created yet millions of consumers love them..... and people wonder why the world is so screwed up.

Just get that great looking game here please. I'll wait patiently. But I am old. lol. Can't wait too long.

For those wondering... just looking at it.. it looks like the closest thing to the original two Fallouts that I've ever seen since. And that's a good thing. Assuming of course the game play, balance issues, etc are taken care of. But the reviews do seem to back up what i"m saying as I read one other reviewer who compared it to Fallout 1/2 and said it was even better than he could have anticipated.

Get the game here.

My plea for the "curators" here...

pull your heads out of your asses.

As for ATOM RPG: dev intended to release it here by christmas eve '18.

But alas, we have "curators" that have to "hand pick" good games. It's so sad and depressing to think about it: even in a rapidly changing and ever more competitive marketplace they still have devs knocking down their doors with great games and their only job would be to say "Right this way, sirs! Pleasure to have you!". Instead we get this thumb twiddling bullshit and games getting arbitrarily rejected because "not a good fit", "looks like a mobile game" and "let's see how it does on Steam first".
But we have that universally acclaimed hipster rpg upcoming, who needs this? :P

A dev told me once that he had never had any game accepted on GOG at first request. All of them got initially rejected but weeks or months later GOG contacted them to ask if they were still interested in releasing the game here...
Better late than never, so let's hope this is the case.
Looks a lot like Wasteland 2,to me and I think it would be hot stuff.
Why so many people hyped about this so called Fallout-ish game? It may look a little bit like Fallout, but it plays more like Planet Alcatraz (with all those wasted Soviet and post-Soviet jokes and references). The gameplay in ATOM is not so bad, it's just a creators of this game, who failed to create something really good and memorable. They just missed the point what made Fallout so adorable.

I like the idea of showing post-apocalyptic world on the other side. But pushing stupid jokes and memes from almost every NPC's mouth is a bad way to do it.

If you enjoyed playing games like Krai Mira or Planet Alcatraz, but want to play something more polished, you may give it a try. Otherwise, I would recommend to stick with classic Fallout games.

I should CLARIFY.... (LOL as if someone from gog actually reads this)....

IMO you should get this game as it's a no brainer... BUT, if you're not or haven't yet because the developer won't support it in the same timely manner they will on Steam then ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET IT HERE.

I've said before if developers/publishers aren't going to support their games here... then don't sell their games for them. Even if it's such a great looking game as a classic Fallout follow-up.

Someone will.
Steam is the no brainer and if it comes here then I will purchase and not knock Gog.
The only thing I can agree on.
Looked at the game. Looks decent enough. Should be here.

That "let's see how it does on Steam first" attitude of the curators is the single most dickheaded thing that's come out of this site, and really shines a light on how utterly biased and ignorant they are around here. They said that shit about Mushihimesama, and even though it did well over on Steam, they still haven't gone to Degica with a grovelling apology like they should have.

But even if they did... Right, so a game you rejected does well on Steam, ok, now lets see just how many jilted fans and others who resorted to buying it on Steam are still willing to buy it again.

Cretins.

Underrail is somewhat similar and a better game IMHO.
Tell me why I should care about "ATOM RPG".

Really, try and sell me on it. Why should I buy it over the classic Fallouts, UnderRail, or Undertale?

Not a whole lot of votes since the wish was added, but maybe it just needs some publicity.

Edited to add a second wish for the same game

Even if they "wait and see", GOG is still apt to reject a successful game. I mean, Super Meat Boy and the attached company was rejected because GOG felt that the market was already saturated with SMB. I think that is stupid, because having good games on the catalog makes GOG's curatorship look more competent, and even better: GOG would have closer ties to developers who may make more good games.

GOG is very much about snubbing opportunity (Degica) or attempts at burning down bridges, in the case of the Zachtronics. Frankly, the curatorship needs an overhaul.
