Might be wise to keep those old games because they are unique in the sense that you actually 'own' them.
These days you don't own games, you are 'licensed' for them. It may technically be the same for the older games as well, but since you can sell those older games at any time without any hindrance or any kind of online notification, i consider that as the sign of real ownership.

Why? It seems to me to be a win-win situation.
I got rid of games I no longer needed. She got rid of games she always thought I never needed.
I didn't have to do the hard, months-long, work of listing them on eBay and mailing them out. She didn't mind.
And we both enjoyed the extra income.

Anyways, I think I will keep the boxed ones, too much to lose, those nice cloth maps, manuals which make good bludgeoning weapons etc.
