MarkoH01: (Hey, we need emotes in the new forum)
Yeah sure. And signatures. And animated gifs as forum avatars. Isn't that what we told them??? ;)

Yep, along with the big banners at the bottom of posts.

Would emotes be a problem? I mean they are not that ressource intensive (I think) and I also don't think that they would make the postings look worse. I may be wrong here but at least the standard emotes would be nice to have imo. I like using :) and especially ;) a lot.

My concern would be over-use of them. As in, people posting with 25 emotes in their posts. To me, that's as bad as the banners and gifs.

I would never use twenty-something smileys but I guess you are correct. Some people do overuse them. Well, then I will have to live with my usual ASCII emotes.
Thanks PaterAlf and Markho for posting those pictures, they're good.
Was a lovely idea of GOG's.

I have to say while it needs a lot of improvement I do quite like the bare bones style of the GOG forum... The lack of emotes and embedded images has a certain charm..

Simply Marko is enough ;) But glad you liked them. We are all no photographers and I think everybody would have love to have an HD camera ... unfortunately at least for me all I had on me was a smartphone which I borrowed from work :D

I still have a few pics but there are GOG people on it as well and I doubt we should post them - sorry.

mechmouse: What's it like knowing all thins juicy information and not being able to tell anyone?
That's one of the main reasons I wanted to go. It kinda sucks not knowing what highly-desired classics would be appearing soon. :P

If YOU say so I absolutely withdraw my request. You designed AF and it looks so great. If you say it's better this way it sure is.

Rest easy, we didn't get any such info. I think.
Still sucks you couldn't make it though.

I cannot remember being told about any other games than the ones listed here already as "soon" but I might be wrong here.

PaterAlf: Yeah, the beer tower wasn't enough. Must have been magical beer though, my english got much more fluid after I drank some glasses.

Sorry, finger problems:) Don't think you would have been allowed to take HD camera's in.
